Ashley's Sweet Treats is a dessert/cafe bakery located in Mount Vernon,NY. We specialize in custom cakes and desserts.We are focused on delighting our customers with artisanal, beautiful, and high-quality cake and desserts.

Born in White Plains, NY and now a resident of Mount Vernon, NY, Ashley Bady graduated from SUNY Cobleskill with an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts.  Furthering her education she attended SUNY Plattsburgh and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism, and Management with a minor in Business. After graduating college she began an internship at a Ceviche Restaurant, a fast casual restaurant serving Peruvian food located in downtown NYC. Shortly thereafter, she became a chef at two Westchester, NY based nursing homes, and from there transitioned into a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager at Empire City Casino in Yonkers, NY.

From a young age Ashley Bady had a passion for baking and would spend hours in the kitchen watching her grandmother cook and bake.  During these moments she knew she would make a career doing what brought her and her grandmother so much joy.  To supplement her grandmother's tutelage and further hone her talents Ashley would watch cooking videos on YouTube or buy cook books of famous chefs absorbing their wisdom for success.   

AshleysSweetTreats Inc. began as a home-based baking business located in Mount Vernon, NY.  After graduating college Ashley Bady began put her talents to work by creating small cakes and other small personalized dessert items for people in the community, and to serve at local events.  As her popularity grew Ashley Bady's product offerings expanded to servicing larger events such as weddings, baby showers, bar mitzvahs, christenings, etc.
